Hamlet’s location in the south central area of the state makes it an ideal place to live - where the Piedmont and Coastal plains meet. Hamlet is within two hours of the coast to the east, and three hours of the mountains to the west on Highway 74, which runs through the heart of Hamlet.
Hamlet is blessed with seasonal changing weather with mild winters and warm summers. Although it does happen, extremely hot or cold weather usually occurs in short periods.
